Please take a moment to review the terms and conditions that apply to all scheduled service bookings.
Terms & Conditions
Tickets purchased online or through authorized agents are valid only for the specific travel dates, times, and routes selected at the time of purchase. You must present valid photo ID along with your electronic or printed ticket to board the bus.
Ticket Limitations & Restrictions
• All MTRWESTERN tickets are non-refundable.
• Tickets expire after the departure time and hold no value thereafter.
• Tickets are non-transferable. Only the person whose name is on the ticket may use it for travel.
• If a ticket is presented by someone other than the original purchaser, it will be void and may be confiscated.
• MTRWESTERN is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.
• Seating is not assigned and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• While we do our best to plan capacity, advance purchase does not guarantee a seat.
Service Disruptions & Delays
We strive to maintain reliable schedules, but arrival and departure times are not guaranteed. MTRWESTERN is not liable for delays caused by breakdowns, traffic, road conditions, weather, or events beyond our control.
We do not reimburse for lodging or incidental travel expenses incurred during service interruptions outside of our control.
Unaccompanied Minors
Minors under age 17 must be accompanied by an adult unless traveling in accordance with MTRWESTERN’s unaccompanied minor policy. Please contact Customer Support for current eligibility and requirements.
Baggage Liability & Policy
MTRWESTERN disclaims liability for lost or damaged baggage or for injuries caused by shifting luggage. Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
• Bags must comply with our Baggage Policy, including weight, size, and content restrictions.
• All baggage must be tagged with the passenger’s full name and contact information (inside and out).
• Bags stored under the coach are placed at your own risk and must be loaded or retrieved with a staff member present.
• MTRWESTERN does not assume responsibility for improperly tagged or unclaimed items.
• Storage charges may apply for baggage left at terminals or with staff.
Acceptable Identification of Baggage
By federal regulation, all bags must be properly identified with the passenger’s name and address. Free luggage tags are available at MTRWESTERN terminals and should be attached before check-in. Promptly retrieve your bags upon arrival.
General Terms
• MTRWESTERN is responsible only for transportation on its own service lines and is not liable for delays or issues resulting from other carriers.
• Seating aboard MTRWESTERN buses is provided without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, or disability.
• Passengers traveling with service animals must follow MTRWESTERN’s Service Animal Policy.
• Special fare discounts are available but must be booked and used according to ticketed terms.
